My Shops

I am an avid book collector.

I enjoy the hobbies of knitting and sewing.

One of my greatest passions is being a help to others.

As some of you may know, I help a lady friend from church clean houses every other Friday. I was originally considered and hired so she could clean the house in a more time efficient manner, so she could be home at a decent time for her husband and children. It also allows me to make a little money on the side. The learning and bonding that comes with spending time with her makes it worth it alone, however!

I was taught and raised by my Dad that it is smart to have a good savings, and to earn more than what you are spending. I have had jobs in the past, and have managed this very thing. But now I am trying to earn money in more eclectic ways that will limit time spent outside of the home, within a Titus 2 spectrum, and that will be a blessing to my family; current or future.

There are some changes going on within the home and our church, so now my occupation also takes up selling things for my Dad to help us out financially. Our outlets are through physical and online means, such as yard sales and eBay.

If you are curious to visit my different shops, give feedback, and perhaps support myself, my family, and/or the local fellowship here, please visit the links in the drop down box under the link that directed you here (My Shops), or click the links below.

Back to Basics Mercantile: A shop that my friend Anne originally thought up, and recruited me to join her! B2B Mercantile sells antiques, handmade items, bulk supplies, things that pertain to self-sufficiency that will help you out on your homestead! Whether your homestead be urban, country, or a little cottage somewhere! 😉 Check out our Etsy shop! We soon hope to be expanding our selling locations.

Flower of the Grass Bookshop: The name of the store was inspired from scripture. (Psalm 103:15; James 1:10) When I was originally selling books online, I wasn’t sure how consistent I was going to be and how long I could keep it up. Perhaps my bookstore might be as the flower of the grass? 😉 Any books that I have outgrown, have no need or use for, or have a surplus of them get listed! Or, I might list them on my…

Used Books Facebook Album: I am a member of different Facebook groups that sell/swap/trade different home school related items. That may pertain to curriculum, literature, programs, DVD’s, etc. I decided to collect all of these items on one public Facebook album. It’s easier to share and link to that way. If you have a Facebook account, check it out! No need for a friends request. Just comment or message me.
