Blogember 6: 5 favorite apps.
One of the best Bible apps out there, I think. There’s so many features to use, but it’s also very simple. You have the ability to highlight, take notes, copy (replace and append to clipboard), slowly scroll down the page, access to your history, audio, and bookmark. They also have the ability to do a version comparison, which can come in handy for the KJVO crowd. 😉 The biggest pro? It’s free!
2. Sermon Audio
Hundreds of sermons at your finger tips, to listen to when you need some meat and music just won’t appease you? Get this app. (Recommended sermons to come!)
One of the better apps that list hymns and other songs of praise. It gives you an option to listen to the hymn, with loop and 8 second preview options. The “PraiseHymns” have sheet music; the “Lyrics” are just that; and there’s a “My Songs” section where you can write down or add your own songs. There’s a “Butch Songbooks: Songs by Butch G. Wipf” which I ignore because I honestly don’t recognize any of the songs nor do I have any idea who that guy is.
This app comes in real handy! Trust me, it’s worth having on your phone.
4. Studio Design
One of THE best photo editing apps I have found for the iPhone! It’s super cute, has a tone of designs, allows you to have different layers for easier editing, and and just has really nice features. Now, it is technically a photo sharing site, kind of like Instagram, but I don’t use it for that purpose, lol. When I can’t use PicMonkey to edit photos for my blog, I’ll use Studio Design. :]
A really, easy simple photo editing app that allows you to quickly add text to a photo! It squares it off; allows you to chose a filter; choose a font, color, and size; then allows you to save and share! When I’m in a crunch to add a photo to a blog post, this app saves me. The only issue is adding a credit link on your photo; it only allows one text at a time.
