Regardless of what happens, you must wholly trust in the Lord. He knows what’s going on, he knows what will happen, he knows the end result, and he’ll take care of you.
“In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.” Psalm 71:1
A hymn that I love and adore is “Trust and Obey.” You could call it my “life hymn.” The refrain goes, “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.“
Time and time again, life has shown me that I should love and trust no other more than I love and trust Jesus. He’s my Redeemer, my Comforter, my Rock, and my Friend. Everything, and everyone, will fail me, but God won’t. I can fully trust in him; he’s always been there.
Life’s experiences has given me a “life verse”, as well. It’s the summation of what life has taught me thus far.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
